A leopard vs porcupine is but one of the iconic sightings that everyone wants to see.

Ard van de Wetering had an opportunity to capture that sighting on film on his trip to the Kruger National Park recently.

The symbiotic relationship between porcupine and leopard is very touching. I was unaware porcupines were nature's acupuncturists actively helping other species afflicted with a wide array of ailments. 💘

I love how the leopard is inspecting the porcupine to see how to bite it, like it’s looking it up and down and thinking “How do I.......above? No, that’s where all the spikes are.....how about the belly-nope spikes too”

I love how the porcupine is is aware of his self defense and literally tries to back his quills into the leopard.
