Lala Kent Goes On Dodo Dream Date With Pittie Who’s Been Single His Whole Life

When Lala Kent found out she was going on a Dodo Dream Date, she was so excited that she announced it on her podcast, “Give Them Lala” — and decided to invite her date to meet her at the studio to kick things off.

Lala was set up on a blind date with Goofy, a 1-year-old pittie who was found abandoned at a park. Poor Goofy has been single his entire life, meaning he’s never had a home to call his own, and Lala made it her mission to show everyone why they should adopt him.

Goofy started off the date by jumping all over Lala’s studio and showing her how excited he was to be there, which she appreciated. Lala has three rescue dogs of her own, two of whom are also pitties, so she was immediately drawn to Goofy and his energetic personality.

After the initial introductions, Lala and Goofy went to pick up some food for their date. While they waited, they sat at a table together and got to know each other a little better.

“Can I call you Goof?” Lala asked her date. “When I crush on someone, I usually give them a pet name.”

Lala also related to him about the single life.

“I have to be honest, I haven’t been on a date, let alone a blind date, in a while,” Lala said to Goofy. “I usually like people to see me, and I like to see them, especially! You need to be coming in here with a face that looks like yours if you’re gonna date me.”

Goofy was Lala’s first ever blind date, and right off the bat, she gave the experience a 10 out of 10. Once their food was ready, the pair headed to a scenic overlook to have a picnic and take in the gorgeous views. They found a nice spot to settle in, and Lala started on her sandwich while Goofy dug into his salad.

As the date wrapped up, Lala couldn’t say enough about how wonderful Goofy is, and how much she hoped he would find a home very soon.

“It was a Dream Date,” Lala said. “Pretty smile, happy, fun — you’re the whole package!”

She also told the Dodo a little bit about her pregnancy and how her own rescue dogs are handling it.

“I feel like Lilly [Lala’s dog] always senses when I’m pregnant,” Lala said. “Because with my first baby — her name is Ocean, she’s 3 — she was very, very delicate with me. But then once the baby came home, she got jealous.”

Goofy himself might not get jealous during a pregnancy because he happens to love kids. This sweet pittie would do wonderfully in a home where he can be active and also cuddle up with his family on the couch to watch some TV. He’s good with both dogs and kids, and really just wants to be loved. He’s available through The Animal Rescue Mission and can’t wait to find his happily-ever-after.

“If he ends up with you, you’re very lucky,” Lala said.
